7.29 B Emerrhain.”
Solstice (Pt. 2) Emerrhain.”
Solstice (Pt. 2) A sigh. The grip loosened. Aaron felt a tingle run up his arms, down his spine. The stranger, Emerrhain, smiled.
Solstice (Pt. 2) Aaron opened and closed his mouth. Emerrhain sat there, looking around. Eyes alighting on all things.
Solstice (Pt. 2) Had warned him about Feor. Emerrhain had known many things, some of which required an intimate knowledge of present events. The passphrase was one thing. But now?
Solstice (Pt. 2) Emerrhain’s smile did not flicker; but it deepened. With another layer of meaning. He sat there, on the bed.
Solstice (Pt. 2) He said that, almost, almost pleadingly. Emerrhain looked at him. His smile never wavered.
Solstice (Pt. 2) He rose, as if they had said enough. Aaron rose involuntarily. He followed the figure to a place in his rooms where he could make a magical circle, if he knew how. The man stopped and Aaron did too. He had only one more question he could ask, before Emerrhain spoke. He was already tracing something in the air for Aaron to copy.
Solstice (Pt. 2) Emerrhain head turned. He thought of this question. The answer hung behind his lips. Then he seemed to think Aaron had earned it.
Solstice (Pt. 7) It wasn’t hard. And it was hard. He was just copying the design Emerrhain was showing him. But that was still intensely difficult, even broken down.
Solstice (Pt. 9) Emerrhain stood in front of him, over the intensely complex magical circle. Not even Nailihuaile and Feor combined could have copied it. But it was…familiar. Aaron’s finger wavered.
Solstice (Pt. 9) I don’t want to. But he didn’t even think that. Emerrhain sighed.
Solstice (Pt. 9) It sat in the center of the circle. Aaron’s finger jerked. But it was lowering. He looked up. Emerrhain’s eyes were focused on the glowing screen. Desperate.
Solstice (Pt. 9) Aaron sighed. His sweating stopped. He looked at Emerrhain.
8.11 E (Revised) Emerrhain.”
8.11 E (Revised) Emerrhain and Kasigna laughed at that. They were not united, Erin was sure. Allies of convenience at best. She pointed at the others—the lost thing was just standing there, listening.
8.11 E (Revised) The laughter cut off. Now, all four were staring at her. Slowly, Emerrhain shook his head.
8.11 E (Revised) Emerrhain bent down. He was more interested than the others. His eyes alight with curiosity. Erin struggled, but the hands of countless ghosts held her. So she just nodded.
8.11 E (Revised) She stared at him. Emerrhain frowned. Erin went on, panting, straining—ready to spit or bite his hand. The words flooded out of her mouth without thought. Just what she believed.
8.11 E (Revised) Tamaroth turned to Emerrhain. The wise man frowned at them. He named them slowly.
8.11 E (Revised) Kasigna, Tamaroth, Emerrhain, the other three—they threw up their hands and screamed. And Erin saw them once more.
Interlude – Paradigm Shift (Pt. 1) Aaron Vanwell stared at Emerrhain. However, he was rewarded with a glare.
Interlude – Paradigm Shift (Pt. 1) To the perplexity of the [Mages], and Emerrhain, the half-Elf kicked them out. Then he sealed the door with a spell as they turned and tried to open it, shouting. Eldavin took a breath. Then he began to speak. It took a while for people to realize what he was doing.
Interlude – Paradigm Shift (Pt. 2) Even the frustrated ___ had no clue. Emerrhain’s time ended as the potency of the two moons reached its zenith, having expended his time beforehand. He left Aaron, uncertain of what was to come.
8.43 Aaron trailed in Eldavin’s wake, like he was following a hurricane. Here was a force to be reckoned with. Yet why did Emerrhain dislike him so? He refused to tell Aaron why in their…lessons. Only that Eldavin was a complication.
