1.12  “Then stop flipping. It’s annoying, and you keep nearly hitting people. Remember poor Tkrn the day he signed up? He still flinches whenever he sees a dagger.”
1.46  “There is no one watching. You can drop the act, Tkrn. You are a terrible pretender of things in any case.”
1.46  Tkrn, the Gnoll guardsman who had been assigned to the gates for the last few days in a row, grinned toothily at Krshia.
1.46  Tkrn scowled and rubbed at his side sulkily. But he didn’t dare talk back. Instead, he cast his eyes to where Erin had disappeared.
1.46  Tkrn shook his head.
1.46  Krshia gave Tkrn a baleful look, and he wilted.
1.46  Tkrn whined at Krshia, but the other Gnoll didn’t relent. She shook her head.
1.46  Krshia prodded Tkrn none-too-gently in the chest.
1.46  Tkrn looked up. That was serious. He listened carefully as Krshia spoke.
1.46  Tkrn straightened and nodded. He had a sword at his waist and a shield buckled to one arm. But he would have been dangerous without either weapon. Well. Moderately dangerous. His eyes glinted in the moonlight.
1.46  Again, for his trouble, Tkrn earned another elbow that made him wince. Krshia flattened her ears and glared at him.
1.46  “You are foolish, Tkrn. Just like a cub on his first hunt. If we place others around her inn, she will notice, yes? But before she does, others will notice and ask questions. And we have few warriors in the city as it is.”
1.46  Tkrn whined. He didn’t like speaking to Krshia, especially because the punishment for making mistakes was so painful.
1.51  Krshia spoke her comment quietly, but even with the pouring rain, the other Gnolls lying in the grass heard her perfectly. Tkrn and six of the other Gnolls relaxed their hold on their bows. Tkrn nodded at Ksmvr as the Antinium swiftly descended the hill, flanked by his Soldiers.

1.51  Tkrn barely saw the paw that cuffed him on the head. Krshia glared at him between the long stalks of grass.
1.51  The other Gnolls chuckled in amusement as Tkrn flattened his ears in embarrassment. As the most junior member of the Gnolls—and the most inexperienced—it was even more humiliating to make a mistake in front of their leader.
1.51  Tkrn shifted. He eyed the hill where the silent figure of Gazi was still crouching and engaging in a staring contest with Relc.
1.51  This time, Tkrn received several admonitory paws to the back of the head. Krshia shook herself and sent water drops flying now that their cover had been broken.
1.60  Tkrn. What’s happening out there?”
