1.04 D A Level 36 [Honor Guard]. Okasha stood in awe of him and humbly bobbed her head as Calectus motioned her to the tent where food was served to the wounded and Geneva, when she remembered to eat.
1.06 D Quallet was there, as was the female Centaur, the leader of Rot’s Bane. Ken thought her name was Exara. What was a surprise was seeing Xalandrass, the war vendor occupying a corner of the tent while he tended to his wounds. Quallet’s eyes widened on seeing Geneva, but when he’d heard what had happened—and heard Calectus was a Level 36 [Honor Guard]—he immediately made room for them around the map.
6.06 D Geneva nodded. Maquit and Ilmt had given her group an excellent deal on their rates and accompanied them wherever they wanted, despite the detours Geneva had asked for. That was because Calectus, the Selphid [Honor Guard] who’d protected Geneva throughout the jungle had spread the word. Geneva was a person of interest to Selphids and so they went out of their way to give her aid. Because they thought she could help them.
7.22 D There was a Selphid leading them. One both Geneva and Okasha knew. Calectus, the [Honor Guard] they had parted ways with. He looked at Okasha-Geneva.
7.22 D The [Doctor] smiled up at the [Honor Guard]. He wore a tall Dullahan’s face. Calectus nodded at Geneva, and Geneva felt her heart racing. No—Okasha’s heart.
7.32 D The Selphid [Honor Guard] nodded to her. The other Selphids were leaving the room.
7.32 D The [Honor Guard] was firm. Geneva decided to drop it.
7.36 C “Hold this ground, Merish. [Honor Guard], with me! We will close those gates.”
7.36 C The [Axe Captain] was dead. He had fallen at the gates as they closed. Two of the [Honor Guard] remained. Merish crouched next to his body.
8.15 Calectus, [Honor Guard] of the Selphids looked down at Geneva in silence. His features were dead and though he mimicked his host-species’ naturally less-emotive states, he was plainly disapproving.
8.15 The [Honor Guard] stood there, stiffly. He was disapproving. The other Selphids—less so. Geneva hesitated.
8.15 His eyes flickered. Some of the other Selphids exchanged glances. The [Honor Guard] inclined his head slowly.
8.15 The voice was warning. The [Honor Guard] shook his head after another second. He met Geneva’s eyes, looking torn.
8.15 Geneva looked around. The window? She began to edge over. And her feet abruptly stopped. She tried to make them move. Yet…the [Honor Guard] was looking at her now. He spoke solemnly.
8.15 The Selphid [Honor Guard] looked at her. Then he gestured.
