8.80  “I heard you designed this place. And I used ‘designed’ as a pejorative, because this is the most disgraceful afterlife I could fathom. Did I hear the name right? Kasignel? Even the name is wrong. As for functionality—this is disgraceful. No order—we were left to just hang about, and you patently cannot even round up the souls afterwards. A blank slate would be less embarrassing, because this clearly took effort. And it is misguided.”
8.82 (Pt. 3)  The dead gods didn’t understand either. They saw the ghosts passing through the cracks in Kasignel. Tamaroth hissed as Norechl battled the Dragonlords.
Interlude – Levels  The Goddess of Death was still in her remade lands of the dead, <Location: Kasignel>. She hadn’t touched the other two.
9.60  “She is returned. ___ess of Death. Ruler of Kasignel. The cruel one. Without mercy. Without justice nor vengeance. She who holds us all. Three-in-One. No armies stand before her, son of House Veltras.”
9.61 G  What had been called ‘Kasignel’. Lands of the Dead, as mortals knew it. Afterlife. Purgatory. The Grand Design knew this from the people who lived and died. And from the data of the location.
9.61 G  <Location: Kasignel>. Governed by different rules, yes; hitherto recently, no Skills would function there. But a location nonetheless that the Grand Design was present in.
9.61 G  They just went to Kasignel, or if they met certain prerequisites…elsewhere.
9.61 G  Kasignel. Hellste. Diotria.
9.61 G  Almost everyone went to Kasignel unless they had several very important conditions. If one possessed a <Miracle> class and had several designators that had been rarely assigned since the beginning of the Grand Design’s function—they were sent to Diotria.
9.61 G  In Kasignel. In Hellste. In Diotria. In Chandrar, underwater, in the air, even on the moons or flying through the void of space. Not that it knew Xarkouth’s will, only observed the Dragonlord of the Void’s wings still beating, a prayer on his forked tongue for the living.
9.61 G  All the people in Kasignel were gone.
9.61 G  Then—nothing. Kasignel was empty of all data now. Only that being whom the Grand Design could not see through the eyes of remained. It could not sense her presence as a function of physics. She had no temperature. She had no magic.
9.61 G  There was a soul in the lands of the dead, Kasignel. But not a new one, recently dead; Kasigna took them as they perished. This one was old. Familiar. Yet he had been lost, his data copied. The Grand Design focused on him like a lighthouse.
9.66  She had not spent the Solstice idle. Yet when the day came, she simply stood in the lands of the dead, Kasignel, and talked a while. The only other person who could hear her, the only person truly welcome, was Drevish.
9.66  They were waiting. Waiting in Kasignel as time ticked onwards.
9.66  She would eat them. Slaughter them and use their bones to build Kasignel anew.
